“The Cabildo de Regla: A Retrospective,” curated by Nayelis Martinez

A selection of photos from the Cabildo de Regla Exhibition were on display at the movie theatre along Guaicanamar Square, on September 4, 2025 at 4pm.

Featured Artists include:

“The Cabildo de Regla: A Retrospective,” curated by Nayelis Martinez

This exhibit opened at the Regla Municipal Library on February 26-April 1., 2025. The exhibit featured photographic images (archival prints) reflecting upon the last 10 years of the Cabildo de Regla project, and the Orisha cloth adornments used in the processionals.

“The Cabildo de Regla: A Retrospective,” curated by Alexandra P. Gelbard

This exhibit opened at the Yoruba Center in La Habana, Cuba on December 11, 2024 as part of the International Conference for the Decade for People of African Descent, held in La Habana Cuba from December 9-13, 2024. The exhibit will be on view at the Yoruba Center until February 1, 2025. This exhibit is curated by Alexandra P. Gelbard. Instillation was assisted by Oscar Fagette (chief curator of the Yoruba Center), and artist Juan Carlos Fleita Belen.

“The Cabildo Behind the Lens,” curated by Juan Dionisio Lozano Gomez and Nayeliz Martinez.

This inagural exhibit ran from September 1-15, 2024 at the Regla Municipal Library. It featured photographs of the Cabildo de Regla from 2016 and 2017 as well as an altar space to Yemaya.
