Collaboration across multiple levels are at the heart of this project linking the community, practitioners, and the institutional cultural structures of Cuba. Within the re-initiation process, collaborations between key organizations within the Regla community bridged the community effort to restart this tradition. Further collaborations with researchers assist in the recompositioning process of knowledge about Regla’s history and its cabildo processional tradition. Lastly, the collaborative efforts of the media team document this process, creating visual documentation for the community in a way that attempts to be accessible and engaging for all.
